Back in the damp, mouldy days of the last century, we were -  unbelievably as it may seem in the Premier League. Legends named Sinclair, McDonald, Ferdinand and Wilson scuttled around the pre-Wasps turf, and we were a pretty useful outfit.

About that time, a number of Arsenal fans challenged a few QPR fans to a match, which was organised via the Internet. Justin Pieris took the organisational reigns, and managed to round up a few assorted Hoops to meet the challenge. They did, and knocked the knickers off of Arsenal 4-2.

Co-incidental to this, a few Northern sides were beginning to orchestrate games between rival sides, with the idea of 'building bridges' between opposing fans with a pre-match kick around, a pub visit, and then the featured game. In 1996, a tournament called Euronet was organised in Nottingham, which ASB attended, and only an offside goal robbed them of tournament victory.

The following season, an informal league format kicked off, and come Summer 97, ASB were top of the tree. The same followed in 1998, with ASB adding the Euronet trophy to their haul.

Since their inception, ASB have undertaken successful tours of; Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Italy & Switzerland.

ASB are now in their 12th season, and growing by the month.
